The Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) at Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM) is a state-of-the-art academic library dedicated to supporting excellence in teaching, learning, research, consultancy, and executive education. As the intellectual hub of the institution, the library provides seamless access to high-quality print, electronic, and multimedia resources that empower students, faculty, researchers, and industry professionals to pursue academic and professional excellence.

The KRC is fully automated and technology-enabled, offering efficient access to scholarly information through modern library management systems, remote access facilities, and digital information services. The library continuously enriches its collections and services to meet the dynamic requirements of management education and interdisciplinary research.

OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue)

An Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is a computerized, web-based database that enables users to search, locate, and track library materials—such as books, journals, and electronic resources—using criteria like author, title, subject, or ISBN. The library's catalogue of books and other reading materials can be accessed through library intranet and Internet (OPAC). The library catalogue is searched by author, title, publisher, keywords, and year of publication.

Serving the institution with distinction since 2002, with over 25 years of professional experience in academic library management across India and abroad.

Dr. A. Sheik Maideen holds an MBA from Annamalai University and a Ph.D. from Madurai Kamaraj University. His areas of expertise include academic library administration, digital library management, knowledge organization, information services, and Total Quality Management (TQM). Under his dynamic leadership, the library has evolved into a state-of-the-art learning and knowledge resource centre.

Awards & Honours: Best Academic Librarian Award – Golden AIM Awards, Mumbai; Best Librarian Award – Madras Library Association (MALA); Best Research Award in Library and Information Science – Maya Publications, Chennai.

He serves as an Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Library and Information Science and is a National Advisory Committee Member of the Institute for Engineering Research and Publication (IFERP). He is a Life Member of the Indian Library Association (ILA), Society for the Advancement of Library and Information Science (SALIS), South Indian Library Association (SILA), and Madras Library Association (MALA).
