About this Event

Objective of the Session
To strengthen the regional startup ecosystem by bringing together government departments, incubation centres, higher educational institutions, startups, investors, industry experts, and ecosystem stakeholders to promote innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship across Southern Tamil Nadu.

Participants / Audience
Government officials, District Administration, Startup India representatives, incubation centres, higher educational institutions, startup founders, investors, industry experts, ecosystem enablers, and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Key Outcomes & Achievements
Participants gained valuable insights into investment readiness, government funding opportunities, branding and marketing strategies, entrepreneurial mindset development, and startup scaling. The summit also facilitated the launch of the Regional Incubation Cluster, encouraging stronger collaboration among incubation centres. A significant outcome for TSOM–IA was the recognition received from the District Collector, Virudhunagar, who invited the institution to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for Self Help Group (SHG) products in the district. Additionally, TSOM–IA engaged with Startup India (DPIIT) to initiate a collaborative awareness programme on Startup India initiatives and startup recognition for students and entrepreneurs.

Institutional Impact
The programme enhanced TSOM–IA's visibility within the regional innovation ecosystem and strengthened its engagement with StartupTN, Startup India, the District Administration, and fellow incubation centres. The event created new opportunities for strategic collaborations in entrepreneurship development, startup mentoring, rural enterprise promotion, branding support, and ecosystem-building initiatives, further positioning TSOM–IA as a key stakeholder in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship across the region.
