Dr. Gobinda Gopal Pahari

Dr. Gobinda Gopal Pahari is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Finance and Accounting area at Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM), Madurai, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance and Accounting from the Vinod Gupta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. He also holds an M.Phil. and M.Com. (Hons.) in Finance and Accounting from Utkal University, Odisha and has qualified the UGC-NET Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Commerce and the UGC-NET in Management. His research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, executive compensation, CEO characteristics, behavioral finance, ESG, sustainability, family firms, earnings management, corporate innovation, corporate bribery, and financial markets. He has published research in leading international journals and edited books, and has presented his work at several prestigious national and international conferences. He is the recipient of Best Paper Awards at the IBS Gurgaon International Conference and the SACFIRE International Conference, Sri Lanka.
