Dr. Preethi Raja

Dr. Preethi Raja is an Assistant Professor at Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM), Madurai. She is a dedicated academician and active researcher specializing in Operations and Supply Chain Management, with a strong focus on sustainability and responsible business practices.

She holds a Ph.D. in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the Department of Management Studies (DoMS), IIT Madras. Her doctoral research, titled "Development and Validation of a Framework to Determine the Dimensions of Social Transparency in Supply Chains," contributes to the growing body of knowledge on supply chain transparency and social sustainability. Her research has been published in reputed international journals, including Management Review Quarterly.

Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Preethi worked as an SAP Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), gaining valuable industry experience that complements her academic and research pursuits. She brings this blend of industry and academic expertise into her teaching, enabling students to connect theoretical concepts with real-world business practices.

At TSM, Dr. Preethi teaches courses in Operations Management and ESG Strategies for Business, with a special interest in integrating sustainability, governance, and supply chain excellence into management education. Her research interests include Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Transparency, Social Sustainability, Reverse Supply Chain Strategies, and Qualitative Research Methods.

Beyond teaching and research, Dr. Preethi actively contributes to institutional development. She serves as the Co-Coordinator of the Growth Mastery Program, a certificate programme designed for MSME owners and entrepreneurs to strengthen business leadership and growth capabilities. She is also a member of HERizon, the Women Development Cell at TSM, where she supports initiatives focused on women's empowerment and professional development.

Committed to continuous learning and digital project management practices, Dr. Preethi has successfully completed the Zoho Projects Certification, further strengthening her expertise in project planning and collaboration.
